Let's hear it for the Rain King

THROW AWAY GIRL

How far can you toss an emotion
Hurling thru the air at speeds of light
Nailing the neighbors cat as fur flies from it’s impact

How long can I remain disposable
Some unwanted ‘thing’
Tossed carelessly in the trash

No thought to it’s future
No care of it’s purpose
No need for it’s existence

Thrown away
chucked
dismissed

Easy in and easy out
Never considered beyond the moment
Never wanted beyond a day

How far can you throw an emotion
The distance of caring
The consideration of being

The loneliness of who I am.

I'm letting you go... Poem

I am letting you go

Release

Reform

Remember

Escaping the damage you caused

I am not to blame

No one holds the fault

Things can not maintain if I’m ever to evolve

I am letting you go

there is more damage in the silence, than the attempts to end it

there is more hopelessness in the memories

than the truth

Time to stop hoping

Time to…

Some old Poetry to share

Crashing

Limitless steps into the emptiness

I find it hard

I find it endless

Why bother to extend towards nothingness

You offer naught

You offer pain

If everywhere I turn becomes a brick wall

I smash my skull and bruise my soul

The attention I seek eludes my sight

Do I ask too much

Do I try too hard

You know the feeling

You know the symptom

And you still blindly inflict it upon me

You…

Counting Crows On Tour

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.

So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
