What a show in Vienna,VA/Wolftrap.  Twas fortunate to sit in the pit, and to watch all the bands so close up.  Went by myself which was incredibly cool....no one to bother me...just listen to some great up and coming bands.  G0d they all look like kids!  I was impressed to see Adam off on the side watching each band intently as a father watches over his children.  He's a mentor to these bands, and what a gift to give over to the next generation of musicians. 

I felt really uncomfortable being so close to the bands. I was afraid to look at any of the musicians in the eyes? Why...I have no idea.   I could see everything.  Persperation, facial expressions were rather interesting. Band dynamics were weird.  You could tell some were closer with other band members.  My only gripe,  wish the bands smiled more.  However, it was soooo hot, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. 

At the very end, a bunch of folks came onto the stage....a couple of kids and their Mom and Dad, and then some other folks.  Must have been family or friends.  It was a cute touch to the end of the show....just not sure who they were or why I care?
