Accidentally in Spain

Sitting in rain & windswept  Madrid, November time its bleak.

Six fat cats watch twenty one sparrows peck for food .... but lifes too good for them to bother fighting for their food....

Over thrirty years of depression and  you take the sweet things in life where you find them ... and treasure the moment creating a memory.

CC´s have held me in check along the way, and for that I thank you - from the first bars of August to the best album you didnt write, Underwater Sunshine.

There are no quick fixes in the world, the deck youre dealt you play, but sometimes respite comes from beauty created by others.

Keep on creating guys - truly, it does matter!

Max

In 1994 I was working in Corsica, off the southern French coast - I had a wild job, running an upmarket travel company, paying mafiosa types large cash rentals, driving around that beautiful place and working out what the hell was wrong as I was so damn unhappy - I found refuge in Aust & Everything after - It resonated then as it still does now - I'm a big music fan, not a buff - but I like good real music and WOW - anyway, I freaked out on beer, wine and shit and took off to work the south-west of France and party at their village fetes - still armed with my CC CD - For me, that album is perfection ... however, later tracks,, especially Mrs Potter , Holiday in Spain etc take me places too. Nowadays Im a company owner and professional dreamer - Listening to Nerina Pallot amongst others and planning to walk and blog the Camono this autumn. Gotta live each day, each done done without a memory is a day lost!

Outreach

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.

So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
