Since there seems to be no simple way to do this, and I'm  not into social networking--good reasons, but another story--I hope that some kind of synchronicity brings this little note to Adam Duritz's attention. The energy will get there somehow, with or without the words.

Thank you Adam. You have been saving my life, sometimes weekly, sometimes monthly, and sometimes daily for over 16 years now. You are the celebrity I would most like to have coffee with, and you have been for over 10 years. Through all kinds of ups and downs, you have grounded me, and strengthened me and propped me up against the worst storms. I have never tried to contact you before, but I wanted to thank you today for being in my life and helping me find my path in it. I don't know if I would be where I am or even here at all without you.
