So there I was planning to go to the gig on the Tuesday in London as well. At 5.15pm I get a call from my wife to say our house had been broken into and we had been burgled! So we lost a couple of things that mattered and a lot of stuff that doesn't. End of the day is the night before I went to a most magnificent gig that had the hairs on the back of my neck (well I don't have many left on my head) standing on end for 2 hours. We are so excited to take our 5 year old son to his first concert.  He's a HUGE fan and can't wait to sing along with Adam on his favorite songs, Einstien, Long December and Yellow Taxi.  I call that some pretty great taste in music for a little munchkin!  OC Fair - here we come!!!

1st time seen Crows live, Apollo a small venue standing only downstairs.   Has to be one of the best gigs I've been to in years.

Lads......... you need to tour the UK more! please!

Once again my summer Crows fix will be satisfied with the acquisition of tickets for both shows in New Jersey.  The Count Basie Theater in Red Bank was a great show a couple of years ago with Augustana, and I expect this years to be the same.

To start this one off today, I should tell you guys I talk to a very dear friend on my way to work every morning. I also refer to her as my "soul-cat". Anyway, sometimes we talk all morning and have nothing but pointless conversation. This morning, however, was different. She asked me this question... Sixth Counting Crows concert I've been to and yet again, you surpassed yourselves. Adam you are a true legend not only with your music,voice, lyrics but the way you raise the profile of mental illness. I'm sure the majority of people who consider themselves well, would wish to have even 100th of your talent. I know I would. Thank you for an amazing concert. Come back to Bristol soon please, we've missed you. 

I hate the part of the morning where I have to get out of bed and participate in real life! 

On another note, The weather is absoloutely beautiful here in Tx! Can I just pretend like I don't have a job and go home and lay out alll day in the sunshine?!?!?

The end of a fantastic day watching Adam, Charlie, Dan and the rest of the band at the Colston Hall, Bristol. We were fortunate enough to get meet and greet tickets, and we were not disappointed. We saw 20 minutes of the guys soundcheck followed by some photo and signing.

Not only are the guys one of the tightest bands around (the professionalism at the soundcheck needs to be seen to be believed) but they are friendly and very accessable.
