What a great day so far!
I got to buy a new power tool this morning (any guy knows how good that makes you feel even though its a little embarrassing to admit).
Driving home with the iPod on shuffle it kindly gives me three Led Zep tracks in a row including 'Rock'n'Roll'
I arrive home and discover Underwater Sunshine has been delivered. I have just put it on and still listening to Untitled (Love Song), covers or not its unmistakably the Crows. Happy Days

Today's shots from the roots of UNDERWATER SUNSHINE feature the magnificent Fairport Convention. Let's start out with the late great Sandy Denny singing her signature tune "Who Know Where The Time Goes?" off my favorite Fairport album UNHALFBRICKING (1969). Dig Richard Thompson's gtr playing throughout the song commenting on Sandy's breathtaking vocal - one of the best deliveries of any song I can remember - truly haunting…Continue
