Maryhill Concert

What a wild bunch of weather that blew in from the southwest whipping the music around the stage like snow. There was even a lightshow, via lightening - soooo spectacular was the night. I loved the set, and the fact the band played a very very long encore, ending with my fav. song "Holiday in Spain". Touching and wonderful. Thanks for coming to my hood.

Maryhill Winery Concert - Opening Act

Just sent a note to the band suggesting Tyler Stenson as a possible opening act for the September 24th show.  He's local, talented, humble, a beautiful songwriter, and deserving of this opportunity.  If you're interested in hearing his music, go to www.tylerstenson.com.  Check it out, we'd love to have you on the bandwagon.  If you like what you hear, let the folks at Maryhill Winery know, time is running short!

MaryHill Concert 9/24/11

Saw the show at this venue summer of 2009!  It's amazing!  Augustana was the opening act...I don't see an opening act listed yet?  Highly recommend Portland's own Tyler Stenson.  Check out the website at "tylerstenson.com"!!!!!!  He would be the perfect act!!!!

what I should of said or done

I know it feels like you are stuck in a dream

A hopeless mix of extremes

Like you have no choice

Like you've lost your voice

You need an emotional divorce

Chart a new course

Set your sights on a horizon that won't disappear

A horizon that will get clearer as you get nearer

Don't let anyone talk you out of your dreams

No matter how good their arguement seems

Believe in yourself

Trust yourself

Don't give anyone…

St Robinson?

Does anyone know how I can get an edited (ie stops when the song stops) version of St Robinson and his cadillac dream to download - I'm happy to pay for it. It's a drag having to listen to the silence and everything after.

Just found the occasion to absorb AAEAL and its……...

Its Great.  Thunder Road/Rain King  just blows me away and I LOVE when the Crowd screams COUNTING CROWS in A Murder of One and ITS THE HEART THAT MATTERS MORE in Omaha. The Guitar just Speaks in Perfect Blue Buildings and I swear that Mr Jones even sounds Fresh. Gotta order the DVD.

I was there

I was there at The Town Hall Center, that evening in late september 2007. IT is a small little theater with a small bacony just around the corner from the center of Times Square. We were in the 12th row I think, dead center. I remember it was an amazing show and i recall walking out close to 3 hours later dumbfounded, in awe by what I had just seen.

I just finished listening to the CD, and I'm completely blown away all over again. In fact It sounds even better than I remembered.…

Counting Crows On Tour

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.

So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
