Amazing band at a beautiful theater. I have been a fan since the beginning. I have never had the opportunity to see you guys live. I was able to buy tickets early. Thanks to being a member of the fan club.

I was blown away at home great the whole band sounds live! It is so disappointing when you have heard people for years and years on CD's and on TV but have never seen them live. When you do they are horrible. I was not disappointed you guys rocked!! I also loved that I could feel…

We love "Underwater Sunshine"

I and my husband love "Underwater Sunshine" - we listen to it all the time! Have shared it with friends and relatives from Tennessee and Utah who also love it. Thank you so much for sharing music from various bands. Love it and love you. When are you coming to San Diego?

.... and then there was Dan Vickrey.

....and then there was Dan Vickrey. Got to meet and chat with him that night in New Orleans also. My bestie, who was a Counting Crows newbie, is now a kitten who's smitten with Dan. I can totally see why. He was cool as hell. Great sense of humor, and he had us laughing A LOT. But it wasn't until Tender Mercies took the stage, that I was then convinced he's one of the greatest guitar players ever. I'll admit, before that show, I only had eyes for Adam, but now I can say that Dan is the man.…

I met Adam.

Since I was 16, Adam Duritz has been my favorite writer. I'm 31 now so that's almost half of my life. The Crows are amazing, and their music cannot even be placed into the same category as modern music, pop or other. It just cannot. The Counting Crows and their music are legendary. They are music legends, and their music will live on forever, much like the Foo Fighters, the Beatles, Queen, Tom Petty, and so many more incredible legends. Unfortunately, music is just not the same these days. …

Goodnight Elisabeth

Ooh I'm such an old person for blogs and tweets... I'm Elisabeth (Betsy), yes the real one with the  boulder in the backyard, where the deer ate the rosebuds, from the Berkeley hills in '93.  Have lost touch with Adam. I'm going to the Wiltern show on Saturday with my husband and two of my kids. We have tix for meet&greet, so I just wanted to let the guys know I'm really looking forward to seeing those faces again, still think you're amazing, hope to hear my song!

Update from the Road:

Jim Bogios here, and we are some happy monkeys on the bus heading home for a bit to the Bay Area!! Hope everyone enjoyed Pechanga, and on Tuesday it will be our first time playing at the Masonic Center in San Francisco. This gives you a little idea of what the bus looks like. We travel in two busses, our band mates Adam, Immer, and Dan ride on the other. When you are on the road it's important to love it on here, it's basically your home on wheels. Kitchen, wireless internet, and two…

Update from the Road

Backstage, after the show. Shouting, as usual. We're trying to figure out who played the clam in the song "Monkey". We had spent an hour earlier that day rehearsing a little two-second bit of the song, and when we got to the show almost no one actually managed to pull it off. (For the record, Jim played it exactly right.)

Charlie (I'm the blur on the left). Tom (our tour manager) is in the middle and my youngest, True, is the smaller blur just behind the couch. And of course you know…

oklahoma concert very disappointing

counting crows are, by far, my favorite band..i've seen them twice before in dallas and they were great...at this concert, it seemed like they were just going through the motions and i was very disappointed...adam even saaid at the end that casino concerts were usually a drag, but this one was nice, but i think they came in with a pre-conceived notion of what the crowd was going to be like and the show reflected that.....i will always love…

Dissappoined w/ concert

Saw CC last weekend In Thackerville, ok., and was disappointed. Acted like they didn't want to be there. Played less than 90 mins. I drove 2.5 hrs to see them! The set was fine, but no songs from latest work, and no round here, my favorite. Very little communication with audience, and vocals were too low. Just seemd like they waned to get it over with. Highlight was a long version of Long December.

Accidentally in Spain

Sitting in rain & windswept  Madrid, November time its bleak.

Six fat cats watch twenty one sparrows peck for food .... but lifes too good for them to bother fighting for their food....

Over thrirty years of depression and  you take the sweet things in life where you find them ... and treasure the moment creating a memory.

CC´s have held me in check along the way, and for that I thank you - from the first bars of August to the best album you didnt…

Counting Crows On Tour

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.

So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
