I would like to tell you about the best person that I ever came to love. Tiffany Maggard was born January 15, 1988. Tiffany was called home on May 25, 2011 when a terrible plane crash took the lives of her and 2 more beautiful girls in our community. In her short 23 years here on this earth, Tiffany touched more lives than she ever imagined. Tiffany had a twin sister, Katie Bentley, and a husband to whom she had been married only 9 short months. She had a smile that put the sun to shame, a laugh that was more beautiful than any song ever wrote, and a caring personality that resembled an angel. Tiffany's death has took it's toll on her friends and family, for she was the bond that held us all together. Not a day goes by that we do not sit and cry over the Lord's decision to call Tiff home. As many lives as she touched, there was something that touched her the same way...Counting Crows. She lived and breathed Counting Crows. She was at every concert she could go to, and waited countless hours after concerts just to try to catch a glimpse of the person who inspired her the most...Adam Duritz. She even had her Counting Crows t-shirt on when she boarded her very last plan ride. I have created an event on facebook called "Getting Counting Crows To Respond". It is a public event that anyone can join and leave comments, hoping that we would get enough people to one day see if Counting Crows could do something special for Tiffany's memory. I beg everyone to click on the link in this post and "Attend" this event to see if we can get Counting Crows to respond. I would love for the people who inspired Tiffany the most to recognize what an amazing person that we lost. We love Tiffany so much, and we would do anything for her, even after she is gone.

This was beautifully written. You as well as Tiffany's family and other friends are in my prayers always. She was a beautiful young lady. I hope you all find peace or guidance during this difficult time and as for The Counting Crows, I pray they respond soon! I know how much it would mean to you, her friends and family and most importantly, Tiffany. Please respond Counting Crows!!!

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.
So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
