I was there at The Town Hall Center, that evening in late september 2007. IT is a small little theater with a small bacony just around the corner from the center of Times Square. We were in the 12th row I think, dead center. I remember it was an amazing show and i recall walking out close to 3 hours later dumbfounded, in awe by what I had just seen.

I just finished listening to the CD, and I'm completely blown away all over again. In fact It sounds even better than I remembered. Tight, loose, delicate and ferocious all at once. I'vebeen to many CC shows at many cool venues over the years, but this recording is smoking and know it will find its way into my cd player thousands of times.

The really amazing thing about that show was that this CD was just the first set! They brought some friends out and played, sang and jammed their favorite tunes, some covers of Dylan and many more for another 90 minutes. This part of the show was just as great. The boys really had a great old time jamming with their buddies in this tiny little venue. How i wish this had been part of the CD too. But I guess not all wishes should be fulfilled, because then there'd be nothing to hope and dream of.

andrew, it WAS a great show. Even better when my pregame included Patty O, sulli, and mellissa at the brewery across the street, as well as mr. and ms. magicman, julie and the rest of the gang after. It wasn't billed as an aaea show, which made it more of a surprise. sure wish that they put out another aaea, but i'm still waiting for the beatles to follow up pepper.........what? they did? ....who died?......... crap. gotta get out more...

Counting Crows On Tour

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.

So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
