I am in 30's land as of last lear and have professed the Counting Crows as my favourite band now for 19 years now to anyone who would listen. Do you realize how messed up that is!? I barely feel old enough to be 21 let alone 31. Anywho, I saw them at the Molson Amphitheatre a couple years ago and I have to tell you that NOTHING is better that hearing your favourite band playing the songs that you KNOW only TRUE fans know. I liked that a lot. Well done.
Also, super rad that as a group, and I believe Adam's sister/family(?) researched the charity that was most in need in T.O. Our city is beyond enormous and needs all the help that it can get. I worked at the Amphitheatre for YEARS an never witnessed anything like that. Made me cry. I brought soup, I think. Anywho, just wanted to express how I think that this band is super rad and that I have had them on repeat for *choke* 19 years; especially "Live Accross A Wire"...
To be able to sing the original vocals and have them work as haromony is excellent fun for a passionate fan, let alone one whom happens to be a vocalist. I've gotta tell you, NO BAND makes harmony more satisfying. Anywho, I probably should have written this when I was 15; That being said, it gives me a strong sense of satisfaction knowing that my preference in music has been proven to include a band that is concomitant with my taste, despite our mutual maturation.
Thank you to the band for all that you have given me. I truly appreciate it. I cherish the memories and very much look forward to more.
P.S. Do you ever listen to "City and Colour"? Great Canadian talent. 2008's "Sleeping Sickness" featuring the incomparable Gord Downie is one of the best songs ever recorded...if you ask me. Anywho...

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.
So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
