Jim Bogios here, and we are some happy monkeys on the bus heading home for a bit to the Bay Area!! Hope everyone enjoyed Pechanga, and on Tuesday it will be our first time playing at the Masonic Center in San Francisco. This gives you a little idea of what the bus looks like. We travel in two busses, our band mates Adam, Immer, and Dan ride on the other. When you are on the road it's important to love it on here, it's basically your home on wheels. Kitchen, wireless internet, and two separate satellite TV's with 900 channels and nothing on!!

Hey guys! I just signed up to thank you for the Austin show on Nov 10. I went there to see you from Monterrey Mexico, and i have wanted to do so for a long long time...I couldn't believe I got to be as close to the stage as i was (i was just next to the almost-fight that happened right in front of the stage). and got great pics of the show too!

I was in New York in '93 when I listened to you for the first time...and the songs of the "august and ..." became very special for me, 'cause I really missed my girl and felt i needed a phone call, needed a raincoat and definetly needed a plane ride (to Mexico) 'cause I was really really lonely for the big town... So your songs were in a big way the soundtrack of my life back then, and still are...

I was a singer in a cover band in bars for many years after that and  included "Mr. Jones" in my repertoir for a long long time ('cause unfortunately CC does'nt get  alot of air-play down hereand that's the one song everyone knows from you guys)...Now I'm lucky enough to be in band project with my friends and about to launch our first cd independently (hey, is never too late for rock)...so I related to Adam's words when hes said in the show that night, he was lucky to finally be in a band together.

Anyway, just wanted to thank you for that show and for being part of the soundtrack of my life. Hope to see you again soon (promise not to miss any other gig in TX!!)

Keep it up guys, and congrats on the friendship among you and for the success.

Counting Crows On Tour

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.

So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
