Saw the Crows recently in Cleveland (June 18, Cain Park) and am really amazed at some of the negativity I have read regarding the show. I have been waiting 6 years for them to come back to Cleveland (last time I saw them was in '06 at Nautica w/Goo Goo Dolls). I have read bitching about how the show wasn't long enough and they didn't play all their hits - REALLY? If you are a true Crows fan, EVERY song is a hit, and I LIVE to hear them play songs I have never heard them play live before. This band does NOT roll out the hit parade and that's part of the pleasure of seeing them live!!! And if anyone at the show had noticed, Cain Park is plunk in the middle of a residential neighborhood and I'm sure they had a cut-off time with the loud music. People were complaining that the band only played 1 1/2 hours (and yes, I would have loved to hear them play 3 times that), but to me, it would have been an honor to hear them play 1 1/2 MINUTES. To those that were disappointed, next time save your money and stay home and play your hits on the records, and let the true fans have first dibs on the best seats to witness one of the greatest live bands around!!
Comment by Andrew Pacheco on July 1, 2012 at 9:58pm So true!! Hate when people complain about not hearing the hits. Not that it's not a great song, but I actually prefer shows without "Mr. Jones." Allows more time for the deep cuts!
Comment by Deborah Dufenetz on July 2, 2012 at 10:13pm Thanks for saying that Andrew!!! Mr. Jones is the last song I want to hear live - I've heard it enough. I'd rather hear maybe "Recovering the Satellites", or "Black and Blue"!!

The GreyBird Foundation was established because we believe America is a dream in which the thoughts and needs of each and every person matter. Unfortunately, people feel small as the world expands and they forget that they ARE America.
So we find the people down the street from you who are trying to do their part to help and we try and help THEM. Get involved with the idea of being involved people. After all, it's your town, your country, your world, and no one will ever make as much of a difference as you can just by waking up and being a part of it.
